Completion of the online platform for preparation and taking the master craftsman’s exam within the Master 4.0 project planned for the end of 2020
One of the goals of the Erasmus + project Master 4.0: improving master’s exams is to create an online platform for the preparation and implementation of master’s exams in order to further improve the taking of master’s exams in partner countries. The online platform will enable the passing of the master’s exam on computers or tablets in the examination centers, where conditions are provided, and questions will be able to be created and printed through the online platform for conducting the exam without a computer.
The platform is developed by the University of Algebra, with regular communication with other project partners. The online platform will consist of 3 parts: an open part, an exam preparation part and an exam part. The open part of the platform will be intended for the public so that all those interested can get an insight into the appearance of the master’s exam and how to prepare for the exam. For the part of the online platform intended for exam preparation, candidates will, after successfully registering for the exam, receive passwords to access that part of the platform where they will be able to practice on copies of exam preparation and other exam preparation materials will be available. Also, during the preparation of the exam, candidates will be able to ask questions to the persons in charge of preparation assistance via the contact form. Part of the platform for taking the master’s exam will be locked for access until the exam itself.
Therefore, during 2019 and 2020, Algebra worked intensively on the preparation of the development environment, the development of the user interface and the administrative interface. Also, in cooperation with the partners, the platform is localized in all languages of the partners participating in the project. After the completion of the working version of the online platform, which is planned for the end of 2020, the partners will be in charge of entering questions for the open part of the platform, preparing candidates for the exam and for taking the master’s exam. Also, with the technical assistance of Algebra, all partners will be trained to use all the functionalities of the platform, and a manual for the administrative use of the platform will be prepared.
In parallel, from the beginning of 2020, partners from Croatia, Slovenia, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro are working to improve the issues for the master’s exams and the master’s exam program so that the piloting of the platform can begin. The online platform is a key innovative element of the project, as it introduces a completely new approach to the preparation and implementation of master’s exams in partner countries.
The goal of the Erasmus + project Master 4.0. is to improve the quality of the master’s exam by improving the exam program and exam questions. Also, the goal is to create an online platform for the preparation and implementation of master’s exams in order to improve the quality of master’s exams in accordance with modern trends and technologies and to promote adult education and lifelong learning.
