Activities in the field of updating exam questions for individual master title and online platform in Slovenia

10.11.2021.

As part of the MASTER 4.0 project, the Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship updated the questions for the general part of the exam (managerial-economic and pedagogical-andragogical part of the exam) and selected professional-theoretical parts of the exam for electrical installation master, mason and carpenter. When updating the exam questions, we proceeded from the valid Exam catalog and took into account the exam objectives, and the methodological framework with guidelines for the preparation of exam questions was also taken into account. Based on the above, activities related to the updating of the questions for the master’s exam took place, which included the participation of experts in the preparation of questions in the field of managerial and economic work and pedagogical and andragogical work, meetings and agreements on adapting questions to the online platform.

In order to upgrade the performance of the master’s exam, an online platform has been created as part of the project, which will include:

open part, intended for the general public and will contain basic information on master’s exams,
work to prepare for the master’s exam and
operational work intended for users to take the master’s exam.
In addition to usability, the platform will make a significant contribution to the promotion of master titles in each country.

The platform was developed for the needs of the project by the company Algebra from the Republic of Croatia. In the coming months, the task of the project partners will be to pilot or conduct master’s exams through the platform, with which future masters will get acquainted with the online platform and also test the possibility of performing part of the master’s exam. Based on the performed piloting, we will obtain all the necessary information that will help us to upgrade the platform and bring it even closer to users. The introduction of the online platform is a step towards an innovative approach to digital technologies, which will improve the quality of preparation and implementation of the master’s exam.
